I'm a big apple user- even though my macbook seems to be crashing every few days. And sometimes I feel hyper connected. For me- it's not as good as the real thing. I like hugs. I need human contact. For me, moving to Regina and not knowing anyone and feeling super disconnected, was debilitating. Being connected online at least let me know that someone was there- but overall- my connections felt like artificial sweetener- and I needed more. So to find balance, I had to drop some of the devices, and set time blocks were I was "unreachable" to go out and be present. Yoga helps a lot. Teaching yoga helps even more.

I think a growing sentiment and wish though, is that as we develop more technology- or more technology is developed and put upon us- that it will help us to connect more, as opposed to continually separating us with a thin electronic membranes.

Great to meet you!

J.jdtrinhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08625585965715415141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8110783392086429879.post-91993110703572692752014-12-03T00:14:01.764-06:002014-12-03T00:14:01.764-06:00Thanks for sharing your thoughts Ryan and kudos to...Thanks for sharing your thoughts Ryan and kudos to you for jumping in and learning with your students.
